John xxxxxx,

Labour’s campaign to win the general election is firing on all cylinders.

Just look what Team Labour has pulled together to achieve:

election spending gap

These pictures, they’re just a snapshot. Millions of leaflets, thousands of placards, brilliant adverts, the battle bus, well equipped volunteers. We owe it all to you.

But my team needs to be able to sustain this campaign. And that takes a lot.

I’m reaching out to you today because we’re a little worried about our fundraising numbers going into this week. We need to be able to keep up this fantastic effort.

If you’ve been waiting to donate to one of our email appeals, the time is now.

Will you make a donation today so we can finalise our budget for campaigning spend going into the week ahead? I need to make decisions today that will affect the resources we’re able to distribute. We promise, we won’t let you down:

This fight isn’t over. No votes have been cast and there are no guarantees in campaigns like this one - millions of voters haven't yet decided who they're voting for.

It's why we must roll up our sleeves and keep working hard.

Your donation will enable us to keep doing absolutely everything we can to sustain our efforts.

Thank you,

David Evans,
General Secretary of the Labour Party
