I'm honored to join Colin Allred this week at the Texas Democratic Convention as a keynote speaker and proud to support him in his race against Ted Cruz. 

I admire Colin because, like me, he's a leader who cares more about getting things done than playing partisan politics. He's willing to reach across the aisle to deliver progress for Texas families. That's the kind of leader Texans deserve in the Senate.

We all know who he's up against: Ted Cruz, one of the most extreme, self-serving politicians our country has ever seen. But Colin can defeat Ted Cruz – multiple polls show him TIED, and Cruz barely won his election in 2018. Colin doesn't accept money from corporate PACs, though; he relies on grassroots donors like you, friend.

That's why I'm personally asking: Will you chip in $5 or more right now to help Colin defeat Ted Cruz, protect our razor-thin Senate majority, and be the Senator Texans deserve?

Texas is a crucial battleground in a crucial election year. It's our best chance to finally fire Ted Cruz. If we can win here, we'll virtually guarantee protecting our Democratic Senate majority.

Experts agree we can do it: CNN and Roll Call have both named Cruz the most vulnerable Republican Senator on the ballot. But Ted Cruz has extremist mega donors and right-wing super PACs spending millions to help him hold this seat – and Colin needs your help to fight back.
