As the only Jewish woman in the Senate, moments like this one make me think back to why I ran for office in the first place. I was guided by the Jewish principle of “Tikkun Olam," which means to repair the world and leave it in a better place than how we found it.

Tikkun Olam has always motivated my work in the Senate, and it’s why I'm fighting so hard to win reelection so I can continue making a difference for families across Nevada and the country. But to do that, I urgently need your help.

Polls have shown me neck and neck with my extreme GOP opponent for months. And now, The Cook Political Report has named Nevada “the most PERILOUS" battleground for Democrats.
