This June, I’m excited to celebrate Pride Month, a time to celebrate the progress we’ve made in securing people the right to love whoever they choose.

This Pride, let’s all commit to lifting up the LGBTQ+ community here in Rhode Island and across the country, and recommit to the fight to make our country more inclusive and welcoming to everyone, no matter who you are or who you love.

JOHN, there is no place in our country for hate and discrimination, and we have to keep up the fight to protect LGBTQ+ Americans, and especially LGBTQ+ young people, as they face a wave of dangerous legislation across the country. Can you sign on right away to stand with me in ensuring equality for all Americans?

This month and always, we must stand together in the fight for equality, acceptance, and justice. Every American deserves to be themselves and love whoever they love.
