If you want to know Donald Trump’s plan for our environment, don’t take our word for it. In a new interview with Fox & Friends, Trump said he’s looking to cut environmental agencies.
When asked which ones he’d cut, Trump said, “We’re going to do, like, Department of Interior” which is responsible for overseeing the proper stewardship of our federal land.
John, we don’t need to make stuff up about Trump to show how out of touch he is with the American people. What is he going to cut? He just told you. That was his answer. Even if his words betray his incredibly simplistic understanding of how the government works, that doesn’t change the reality that this is what his administration would cut if he came back into power.
Not only is Trump ridiculously unthoughtful and lacking real solutions to the most pressing issues facing our country, but his extreme policies would open the door to more fossil fuel drilling and harm our planet for generations.
