Friend, we don’t make a decision to endorse or support a candidate lightly.

We look at a ton of factors, but we also get to know them personally. Ultimately, we ask whether they’ve got the heart to serve.

A lot goes into those decisions because our support comes with a lot of resources. We spend a majority of the money we raise on our own candidates because our support can flip seats and win races.

We put a ton of resources into two New Jersey races over the last few months, and it wasn’t at all guaranteed that we would get the result we wanted.

But both of our candidates — Andy Kim for U.S. Senate and Herb Conaway for New Jersey’s 3rd Congressional District — won their primaries.

We’re so proud, and we thought we should let you know because your donations are what make this kind of thing happen. But there’s no time to rest, because Virginia’s primary is in just a few weeks and we have important candidates running in that state, too.

We’re spending continuously now, and we’ve already committed millions through Election Day. We’ve got to raise as we spend, or we’ll quickly run out of resources. And we’re hoping that you’ll be able to help us refill those coffers today.
