Chris: All I need is $5

☕️ Good morning.

We're writing to ask if you can donate just $5 to Senator Chris Murphy's re-election campaign in Connecticut.

People ask us all the time if a donation the equivalent of a cup of coffee at Dunkin' actually matters.

The answer is yes. Yes it does.

Lots of small donations added up in Chris' first Senate race when he beat an opponent who spent $50 million of her own money.

They all added up in Chris's second race when the NRA was desperately hoping a candidate would emerge who could knock him out of the Senate.

The reality is that Senate races — even in Connecticut — are expensive. And this time, Chris’ leadership has earned him more corporate and right-wing enemies with deep pockets than ever before.

We know that $5 may not sound like a lot on its own, but believe us, it adds up fast. Just as important as having the resources to win is doing it with a true grassroots effort — that is what gives our movement the power to change the status quo.

If you are able, can you please contribute $5 — or as much as you can afford today — to Chris Murphy's re-election campaign in Connecticut? The amount of the donation isn't as important as the number of people chipping in.
