Last week, Donald Trump was convicted of over 30 felony counts from his hush-money trial in New York. The jury found that he falsified business records in order to pay adult film star Stormy Daniels ahead of his 2016 presidential election run.
These convictions weren’t politically motivated — no one is above the rule of law. Yet MAGA Republicans began calling for retaliation against Democrats just HOURS after the verdict dropped.
Extremists on the right want to use our criminal justice system as a weapon for vengeance against their political opponents and anyone who isn’t working in lockstep with their MAGA agenda.
