Dear John,

The day has finally come: Giving Day is here!

As a proud member of the performing arts community and fellow
supporter of the Entertainment Community Fund, I am excited to
celebrate Giving Day! With Giving Day, we honor the founding of the
Entertainment Community Fund 142 years ago-and we're so
grateful that you are part of our celebration.

Join us today by donating a gift of $142 to the Entertainment
Community Fund.

The Fund is very close to my heart because of their work to provide
stability for everyone in the entertainment industry-both those
on stage and behind the scenes. It's truly inspiring to witness
the impact they make on so many lives!

As someone who has worked in this industry for many years, I have seen
firsthand the ups and downs that many people face. That's why
the Fund's efforts to promote financial stability, support
women's health concerns and provide affordable housing mean so
much to me. It is also why I chose to play for the Fund when I had the
opportunity to compete for charity on Celebrity Jeopardy! earlier this
year.

This year, Giving Day will also support the Fund's recently
announced ESSENTIAL Campaign, the largest capacity-building effort in
the organization's history. As a member of the ESSENTIAL
Campaign committee, I am so excited to share more about it with you.

The ESSENTIAL Campaign focuses on three areas:

* Expand and Sustain Core Services. Since its founding in 1882,
the Fund has helped address the specific needs of entertainment
professionals. We are working to triple the number of
individuals we serve by reaching more people in additional
communities with services such as scholarships, mental health
services, health insurance and career counseling.
* Grow the Emergency Relief Reserve Fund. The Fund quickly
responded to urgent needs during the crises of recent years, and
we want to be prepared for whatever is ahead. We are creating an
emergency relief reserve fund that allows us to respond to
critical needs immediately and robustly the next time a crisis
occurs.
* Support Mission-Critical Capital Projects. This includes
upgrading and modernizing the residence facilities we have in
New Jersey and New York, completing construction on The
Hollywood Arts Collective complex and creating an affordable
housing fund to stimulate investment in new projects in Los
Angeles, New York and other cities around the country.

John, please make a gift of $142 today to ensure that we
can continue to be the safety net they need. I realize not everyone
can win a million bucks on a game show to donate to the Fund, but you
can still do your part! Giving Day is only until midnight
tonight-don't miss out on this opportunity!
