Here are three numbers you need to know about Monsanto and cancer-linked glyphosate:

1. 250 million pounds of Monsanto’s Roundup are dumped on American farmland each year. The key ingredient in Roundup is glyphosate.

2. 42,000 cancer victims and their families are suing Monsanto for glyphosate’s role in causing their cancer.

3. $80 million was awarded to a California man after a jury found that glyphosate caused his cancer. But Monsanto is challenging the ruling!

Here’s one more: 0. That’s how many times I see your name on EWG’s petition to stop Monsanto.

Monsanto is trying to use a faulty EPA risk assessment to take away millions from a cancer victim. EWG lawyers have filed a brief in court to try to stop them. We need your help to show the court and Monsanto-Bayer that public opinion is on our side!

We need at least 50,000 signatures on our petition to get Monsanto’s attention, but we’re falling behind. Will you help us add 12,483 new names by midnight tonight to get back on track?

Add your name to EWG’s petition to help us stop Monsanto from taking millions away from a cancer victim!
