Friend, during his first election in 2018, no one gave my husband, Colin, much of a chance.

He was running against a 22-year GOP incumbent who had won his last campaign with 71% of the vote, and most experts didn’t think Colin was a threat.

But in the end, Colin did what he always does. He outworked his opponent, made connections with countless voters across the district, and surprised everyone by winning.

It’s pretty much the story of his life. When the odds are stacked against him, he goes to work to get the job done. It’s gotten him to the NFL, to the Obama administration, and to Congress. And I know that it’s going to get him to the Senate, too.

We know this race against Ted Cruz is going to be hard, but our goal to replace Cruz in the Senate is too important for us to sit on the sidelines. Colin is going to do everything he can to win this race, but he can't do it without grassroots support from individuals like you, friend.

Colin is speaking at the Texas Democratic Convention tonight and needs to raise $150,000 in the next two days to be able to keep up with Ted Cruz's millions and win in what will be one of the most expensive races in the country.
