MAGA is failing America on Climate Change

New data from Copernicus, the European Union’s climate monitoring service, reveals a startling trend: the planet has experienced 12 consecutive months of unprecedented heat, from June 2023 to May 2024. Each of these months ranked as the hottest on record. This troubling heat streak, while not entirely unexpected given the impact of human-caused climate change, serves as a grim reminder of the urgent need for action.
MAGA is standing in the way of action. Democrats are fighting in all 50 states to protect our environment and implement measures to reduce the impacts of climate change. MAGA is more concerned with profits than helping the planet.

The director of Copernicus, Carlo Buontempo, warns that unless significant measures are taken to reduce fossil fuel emissions, these recent record-breaking temperatures may soon seem comparatively mild. The release of this data coincided with an impassioned speech by United Nations Secretary General António Guterres, who condemned fossil fuel companies as the "godfathers of climate chaos" and called for a global ban on advertising their products. MAGA continues to support these companies, prioritizing the rich elites over our environment and the safety of the working class.
