They’ll come after reproductive rights any way they can — outlawing birth control, IVF, IUDs, Plan B, everything

Warren for Senate

I'm really sick of this idea that Republicans think they can say two polar opposite things simultaneously.

They talk to their extremist groups and say, “I'll give you everything you want. We are going to ban abortion, IVF, contraception, everything you want.” And then try to say to the rest of America, “No, no, we really don't mean it. We're very moderate. We're not going to do that. Calm down. There's not a problem here.”

For years, they said, “No, nobody is going to touch Roe v. Wade.”

And then Donald Trump gets this extremist Supreme Court in place, and the first chance they get, they overturn Roe v. Wade.

And right now they’re saying no, you’re crazy to suggest that we’re trying to take away birth control.

But then their actions say something different. This week Democrats put forward the Right to Contraception Act. It asked every Senator to answer if they’re willing to support a federal law to protect access to contraception. A simple yes or no.

Only two Republicans said, “Yeah, I'll support that.” The rest of them either voted no or ran for the hills so that they wouldn't have to say in public how they feel about taking away access to contraception.

So you better believe that Republicans are coming after abortion everywhere in this country. They're coming after IVF in this country, and they're coming after contraception — birth control, IUDs, Plan B, everything. Not just in red states, but nationally — red states, blue states, purple states, everywhere.

This is an alarming moment, and I’m fighting with everything I have to stop them. I’m going to keep forcing them to go on record and state what they’re willing or unwilling to do. I’m going to keep calling out their hypocrisy and sounding the alarm about what will happen if they win. And I’m going to continue pushing for a nationwide law ensuring the right to an abortion, supporting organizers at the state level who are passing protections through ballot measures, and fighting to expand and rebalance the Supreme Court.

But in this fight, and all our other fights, we make each other stronger. Will you pitch in $28 or anything you can to support our campaign for abortion rights?
