The latest attack on ballot drop boxes comes from Wyoming
* Wyoming Secretary of State Chuck Gray (R) told ([link removed]) county clerks to eliminate the use of mail-in ballot drop boxes ahead of the November election because he does not believe they are safe and secure. This is part of his larger agenda to push “election integrity.”
* The County Clerks’ Association of Wyoming responded to Gray’s letter saying his message about drop boxes not being secure is wrong and that county clerks should be able to decide whether or not to use them.
* Marissa Carpio, the policy director of the Equality State Policy Center, said Gray’s rhetoric could stir up “distrust in the electoral process,” which could convince some voters to stay home on Election Day.
A couple of states over, Kari Lake’s attorney had his law license suspended for 60 days
* An Arizona judge suspended ([link removed]) the law license of Bryan Blehm, the "pro-MAGA" attorney who represented Kari Lake in her failed lawsuits to overturn the 2022 gubernatorial election.
