We just wrapped up our weekly budget meeting with Maxwell and wanted to update you with some news:

I’ll start with the good news: We’re building an unstoppable movement across Florida. Our organizing team already helped flip HD-35 blue – a DeSantis +11 State House seat! And we’re just getting started.

But here’s the bad news: A lot of grassroots donors are giving up and pulling out of Florida - which means our donations are slowing down. Without grassroots supporters, our work to secure more big wins across Florida will come to a halt.

The fact that we flipped a State House district from deep-red to blue this year isn’t a fluke. We cannot give up on Florida, and neither should you, John.

But as Maxwell's Finance Director, it's my job to look at the numbers, and they aren’t looking good as of now. We’re behind on our End of Quarter goal, and we only have this month to catch up. This is a problem that can only be fixed with your help.

We’ve shown that we can defeat DeSantis' candidates at the ballot box. But if we want to do it again this year, we need folks like YOU to fuel our movement.
