I wanted to tell you a bit about why I’m in this fight to bring common-sense and sanity back to Congress.

My father was born in Italy, and his family came to New York in search of the American Dream. He attended school on Long Island, later going into public service and becoming the youngest judge in the United States in 1949 and Mayor of Glen Cove in 1956.

He inspired me to go into public service. And through my time as mayor, county executive, and Congressman, my north star has always been helping people achieve the American Dream like he did.

But the American Dream is out of reach for far too many. Rising costs are pricing people out of Long Island. Our immigration system is broken. And the Chaos Caucus is more interested in extremist grandstanding than in solving our problems.

We’ve got to change our course–which is why I’m in Congress fighting for Long Island and Queens every day. But I need your help to stay there.
