John,
Today marks Gun Violence Awareness Day, a critical moment for us to unite and advocate for safer communities across Delaware and our nation. Gun violence impacts countless lives daily, so today, we are wearing orange to show our support for Gun Violence Awareness Day.
In Delaware, we have made significant strides toward reducing gun violence, and we could not have done it without your support. Earlier this year, we celebrated the signing of the Permit to Purchase bill, a key piece of legislation that requires Delawareans to complete a firearm training course and obtain a permit before purchasing a handgun. This law is a significant step toward ensuring the safety of our families and communities.

Unfortunately, the other side of the aisle has shown absolutely zero interest in addressing gun violence in America. If we want to see common sense action taken on this issue, we must continue electing Democrats who value the safety and lives of everyone.
With Democratic Pride,
Betsy
