Providing solutions and support, together.

Many people today are faced with homelessness for the first time. Despite the rising demands for our services, thanks to your support, individuals and families can turn to Families in Transition for help.

We are seeing a broader set of needs. More often lately, people seeking our services are over the age of 65 or those who have jobs. In addition to men and women with mental health or substance use disorders, there are also those escaping domestic violence, as well as moms and dads, striving to provide the best they can for their children.

It's important for us to share our challenges and needs so you can understand the critical role you are playing in these life-changing services. Read our recent mailer below to learn more. Thank you for your generosity and for being a part of our important work.

The 34th Annual Walk Against Hunger

A record year! Thanks to everyone who participated in the 34th Annual Walk Against Hunger. The efforts of over 784 walkers and 52 teams (along with many sponsors, donors, and volunteers) helped us to raise a record amount of over $190,000!

These funds go directly to supporting our mission of preventing and breaking the cycle of homelessness by supporting those experiencing food insecurity.

This event would not be possible without our community partners. Thank you to our major event sponsors, NH Healthy Families, Cogswell Benevolent Trust, and Spectrum Marketing Companies, for their support and contributions this year!
