Five months ahead of a clearly unfavorable election, Chuck Schumer has initiated a ‘Summer of Show Votes’ to try and change the narrative on the liberal Democrat’s complete failure of leadership. Republicans will continue call attention to these ploys and fight against their far-Left agenda. Unlike Schumer, we've been hard at work this week. Check out some highlights below.

This week, I led 10 of my colleagues in introducing a resolution to overturn the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) recent rule to impose retroactive, costly, and overreaching regulations on coal ash management at inactive coal-fired power plants. Oklahoma, the first state to operate its own coal ash disposal program, along with many other states have already established safe disposal procedures for coal ash management at legacy sites in accordance with state law and hazardous waste regulations. This one-size-fits-all rule is part of the Biden administration’s sweeping effort to close power plants across the country and is dangerous to our already unstable power grid. Read more here.

Congratulations are in order for the four-time consecutive champions of the Women's College World Series! The Oklahoma University Women's Softball team has once again taken home the trophy after an incredible season and World Series run. The entire state is proud of your hard work and look forward to celebrating this victory along side of you. Boomer Sooner!

Last Thursday, twelve Manhattan jurors found the 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump guilty in a court of law fewer than 200 days before Election Day. This ruling demonstrates the first ever criminal conviction of a former President.

First, Biden said there was no border crisis. Then, he admitted there was an issue but claimed he had no authority to fix it. Now, more than three years into his presidency, Biden issued executive 'action' this week to address his self-inflicted crisis at our southern border. Let's be clear: Biden is not closing the border.
