John,

These are difficult times for all of us. I truly hope this message
finds you and your loved ones safe and healthy.

I'm writing with some good news ... but first I want to
assure you that this pandemic has not slowed down The Trust for Public
Land in any way.

We are still working day and night in Washington, D.C., to obtain
the full $900 million to which the Land and Water Conservation Fund is
due.

We are still seeking out land that could be permanently protected
for public use, and we are still working on the preservation projects
we had in progress before the pandemic started.

We are still creating public parks and green spaces ... and we
won't stop until every American has quality open space within a
10-minute walk of home.

We are still transforming communities with public green spaces
that improve the health of residents, jump start local economies, and
slow the rate of climate change.

We are still doing all this and more, even as donations have
dropped precipitously. Many of our members and donors have asked how
they can help, and now an exciting opportunity has come up that I knew
you'd want to hear about.

John, because the need is so great right now, a generous friend of The Trust
for Public Land has offered to match every gift we receive for the
next 30 days, up to a total of $250,000. Basically, this is an offer
to double the donation you make today.

Your gift of $25 will be matched with another $25, turning it
into $50. Donate $35, and it will become $70. A gift of $50 will be
$100 once it's matched.

John, this is a chance for you to do twice as much good and save twice as
much land. Make a donation to The Trust for Public Land, and it will
be doubled.

Our supporters have gotten us through difficult times like this
before, and undoubtedly will again. It's good to know that so
many dedicated members who truly care about public lands have our
backs. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Kim Elliot
Director of Membership
