Hi John,

In just five months, voters will head to the polls in the first presidential election since Roe v. Wade was gutted. It will be the first presidential election since Republicans won control of the U.S. House and filled the chamber with chaos, political vindictiveness, in-fighting, and general ineptitude. It’s the first presidential election since Donald Trump tried to steal the previous election and incited a deadly riot at the Capitol. It’s the first presidential election since Trump, the GOP frontrunner, was convicted of 34 felonies related to election fraud.

While every election may feel more important to the long-term stability of our democracy than the last, we know this one is momentous. And, we know how to win.

There are millions of first time voters, undecided voters, and sporadic voters who may need an extra nudge to vote this year, and as grassroots organizers we can reach them in these critical final months and help them make a plan to get to the polls. Together, we can turn out Democratic voters and secure electoral victories where and when it counts. It’s what this community has been doing successfully for years. 

Organizing and mobilizing is difficult at the best of times. Please take a moment to breathe, go for a walk, and clear your mind for the work ahead—because we need you in this fight, John.
