We hope you have had a great week! As we welcomed in a new month, Congressman Kim also enjoyed celebrating the start of Pride Month. Everyone deserves to live freely and authentically themselves. We look forward to joining our community throughout June to celebrate freedom, love, and the courage of LGBTQ+ heroes in history who accepted nothing less.

Commemorating D-Day

Yesterday, we joined in recognizing the 80th anniversary of D-Day to remember our servicemembers and those across the Allied forces who defended freedom against tyranny on the Normandy beaches. May we all work to uplift and honor their service and sacrifice for generations to come so their courage is never forgotten.

Continuing our Work to End Gun Violence

June marks Gun Violence Awareness Month and today on Gun Violence Awareness Day, people are encouraged to wear orange to help amplify the need to address the gun violence epidemic in our country. On Monday, Congressman Kim was proud to stand with Burlington City High School students who are bravely using their voice to end gun violence.

Young people are growing up in a country where they don't feel safe from gun violence - especially in school. They deserve better and we are proud to stand with them and students across our country for change.

Congressman Kim Helps Secure $1.6 Million for Electric School Buses in Burlington County

Nothing is more important than the health and safety of our communities. As our nation invests more now to combat climate change than we ever have, Congressman Kim is working to make sure our New Jersey communities’ needs are looked after. Today, he announced that the Burlington County Special Services School District was awarded $1,615,000 for 10 new electric buses and charging infrastructure! These new school buses will go a long way to protect students in Burlington County from bus exhaust on their way to school and deliver cleaner air to the entire county.

Congressman Kim helped connect them to the funding through the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Clean School Bus Rebate Program. The Congressman helped pass the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law into law in 2021, which provided the EPA funding for this program!

Much May Success

We “May” be too excited to share these each month, but we are proud to be able to assist neighbors wherever we can. In May, our office was able to close 336 cases and return $1,075,130 to people from New Jersey's 3rd Congressional District.
