John —

I’d like to talk about the stakes for our democracy in this election.

I hope you’ll take just a few minutes to read this important message and then chip in, if you can, to help me defend our democracy as AZ-01’s next Congressman.

As the grandson of four Holocaust survivors and son of refugees from communism, democracy and freedom aren’t abstract to me. They’ve always been real.

I’m running for Congress because our democracy is under threat like never before, and the very values that define us as Americans — freedom, justice, and equality — are being tested.

That became clear on January 6th, when my opponent, David Schweikert, and other extremists attempted to overturn a free and fair election — an act that shook the very foundations of our nation.

We cannot allow a person who voted to undermine our democracy or has fought for decades to take away abortion rights to continue making decisions that will determine the course of our nation for generations to come.

I’ve seen the price my grandparents and parents paid when freedom and democracy disappeared, and I’ll be damned if I’m going to let that happen to my children.

So this campaign is about more than flipping a seat for the Democrats — it’s about ensuring our children inherit a country where justice, truth, and freedom prevail.

I’ve served our country in uniform, and I’m committed to doing everything I can in Congress to protect our democracy from those who wish to tear it down and support democracy across the globe.

If you’re with me, will you make a donation to support my campaign today? I can’t defeat Schweikert and take on this fight alone.
