Happy Pride Month from the Kansas Dems!
[link removed] [[link removed]]
This month, we're looking forward to celebrating and empowering LGBTQ+ Kansans all over the state! Will you take a moment to show your support by signing our solidarity pledge? >> [[link removed]]
Being able to celebrate is a victory in and of itself, John.
Just under a decade ago, same-sex marriage was legalized nationwide, marking a major milestone in LGBTQ+ rights. Then in 2020, the Supreme Court made a landmark decision to grant equal protection from discrimination for Americans regardless of their gender identity or sexuality.
But the fight is far from over in Kansas. Extreme Republicans have continued to push their radical social beliefs in the Kansas Legislature and into our communities.
Thatβs why itβs important we continue to show our solidarity, our pride, and elect more LGBTQ+ and allied leaders up and down the ballot.
Support from our grassroots coalition is critical to taking back the legislature and paving a way for ALL Kansans to be uplifted and protected in the future β and because of extremist supermajorities, we need all of the help we can get. John, will you sign our petition today to stand with our LGBTQ+ Kansans? [[link removed]]
