I need to explain something.
At the end of every quarter, federal campaigns like mine have to file a public report detailing how much they’ve raised and how many folks have pitched in over the last three months to the Federal Election Commission.
Our next end-of-quarter deadline is right around the corner. Once our numbers go public, everyone from Eric Hovde to his dark money allies will see how much we raised and make campaign spending decisions based on our fundraising numbers.
Democrats are defending 23 Senate seats across the country this November. But if we show any signs of weakness by missing our end-of-quarter fundraising goal, outside spenders and right-wing super PACs will focus all their might on Wisconsin.
We know my Republican opponent is going to post a massive fundraising haul powered by his own self-funding.
But I’m looking at our own numbers right now, and it’s clear we’re behind on our goal for the quarter. Now, I’m counting on this team to close the gap — one grassroots donation at a time.
Will you chip in $5 before our end-of-quarter deadline expires on June 30th? This public fundraising report will have major implications on how much more money Republicans will pour into Wisconsin to unseat me this year.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
Whoever has the most resources to get their message out to voters across Wisconsin will win this race. Thanks for having my back to make sure we can compete with my self-funding megamillionaire opponent.
