John, in honor of Pride Month, we wanted to ask: Have you ever wondered what it’s like to run for office as part of the LGBTQIA+ community?
Then bring all your questions to our first ever Ask Me Anything on Tuesday, June 18! We’ll be partnering with the LGBTQ+ Victory Fund to spotlight two incredible Run for Something alumni who will share their firsthand experiences about running for and serving in office as a LGBTQIA+ community member.
You’ll hear from Genesee County Clerk and Register of Deeds Domonique Clemons – the first openly LGBTQIA+ clerk/register in Michigan and the first African American to hold the position in the county’s 187-year history.
Lorena Austin will also be there to share their story about how they rose up to become one of Arizona’s House representatives, advocating for diversity, equity and inclusion throughout their work for District 9.
From school boards to city councils to state legislators, amazing LGBTQIA+ alumni are making positive, progressive change in communities across the country.
RSVP RIGHT NOW for the Ask Me Anything event and hear from these incredible Run for Something alumni in honor of Pride Month!
