The GOP can try as hard as they want, but they won’t take our pride away.

It’s no secret the GOP has been working to limit LGBTQIA+ rights wherever they can, from our health care to our right to be open about our own marriages. If it seems like it’s been one step forward two steps back, that’s because it has.

But it doesn’t have to be that way. We can get behind the elected officials who dedicate their political power to expanding resources, rights, and protections for all, including the LGBTQIA+ community. Officials like Mary Gay.

Show her you’re with her this Pride Month by instantly signing your name in support of her work to pass the Do No Harm Act and stop discrimination on the basis of religious freedom >> [[link removed]]

We’re celebrating Pride Month, but it’s not just about parades.

Pride Month is a time when we honor the fight . The fight for equal rights, for safety and security, the fight for acceptance not just from our peers but from our government.

Because let’s be honest – the GOP is STILL doing too much to make LGBTQIA+ folks second-class citizens. Just look at this list of things they proposed last year: *
Protection
by
the
government
for
discrimination
against
same-sex
couples
on
the
basis
of
religious
freedom.
*
Prohibit
appropriated
public
funds
from
being
used
for
implementing
anti-discrimination
and
equity
programs
including
closing
the
House
DEI
Office.
*
Prohibit
appropriated
funds
in
programs
like
Medicaid
from
being
used
for
gender-affirming
surgical
procedures
or
hormone
therapies.
*
Prohibit
displaying
Pride
flags
at
U.S.
Embassies.

The GOP continues to promote hateful and divisive rhetoric and policies – they will not stop coming for our rights. And Mary Gay will not put up with it — are you with her? Then instantly sign your name next to hers and stand up for LGBTQIA+ rights this Pride Month >> [[link removed]]SIGN ON [[link removed]]

With a rise in violence and attacks aimed at LGBTQIA+ Americans, children, and families, these dangerous times require leaders willing to step into the fray. That’s why Mary Gay is fighting with the full power of her office to expand legal protections.

Anti-LGBTQIA+ legislation is already making it more difficult to access gender-affirming care and putting hard-fought legal protections in jeopardy. While the far-right MAGA GOP continues their attacks, Mary Gay is using her position in Congress to protect members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and you can help by supporting her, John. Add your name instantly to show your support for the Do No Harm Act and stop discrimination in the name of religious freedom >> [[link removed]]

In solidarity,

Luke
