Jack, Daily Kos is the country's first and only participatory, grassroots-funded, news and activism hub.

Help ensure that Daily Kos doesn't disappear. Please support our work with a donation of $5 or more.

PLEASE DONATE

The work Daily Kos does every day lies at the crossroads of delivering the news and providing the avenues to take effective action on that news—along with a vibrant progressive community where you can share your ideas and opinions.

If Daily Kos were to disappear, nothing would replace the work we do, because no one else delivers the news along with the tools you need to take immediate and impactful action. However, what makes Daily Kos so unique, also means we face the same financial challenges that plagued so many other news outlets and progressive advocacy organizations.

Across the board—Democrats and Republicans—organizations, candidates, and campaigns are seeing a drop in grassroots donations. These are the donations that are only a few dollars, but when thousands of readers and activists donate it really adds up. In fact, those grassroots donations are our largest source of income to power our work.

The last three months we have seen a drop in our grassroots donations. As a result we have missed our monthly fundraising goals.

Your support means a lot to us. We know that in order to keep operating, we have to fight and deliver for what you believe in. Please support Daily Kos by donating $5 or whatever amount is meaningful to you today.

PLEASE DONATE

Thank you for all you do,
Amanda McKay, Daily Kos
