We’ve seen our communities across Maryland torn apart by senseless gun violence. I strongly believe ensuring that our streets and neighborhoods are safe, healthy, and thriving is at the core of public service.

As Baltimore County Executive, I brought Democrats and Republicans together to pass the Secure All Firearms Effectively (SAFE) Act to help keep our communities safe by doing more to keep firearms out of the hands of criminals.

In Congress, I will be a strong advocate for universal background checks, closing loopholes in the current system, and implementing red flag laws to ensure no more lives are lost due to gun violence in our communities. But I can’t do this alone.

I delivered for our communities time and again as County Executive, and now I am ready to do the same in Congress. Can I count on you to chip in $5, $10, or whatever you can afford to join our growing list of grassroots supporters?
