Today we are emailing you to see if you can pitch in $1 (or more!) to help us hit our 500 contribution goal before midnight tomorrow. But first, we want to talk about why we’re asking. ([link removed])

For the past month, we’ve been working remotely and creating a virtual campaign. We may be stuck at home, but we’re working harder than ever to find creative ways to keep building this movement.

We’re investing in software to help our staff and volunteers stay connected, and plan online events to spread Alyse’s message for change. We’re also holding regular virtual town halls that connect Alaskans with experts and resources during these tough times.

And despite everything, we’re still hiring staff to help coordinate our current volunteer efforts as we continue to make wellness calls, and make sure we are ready to hit the ground running when it’s safe.
