New statewide contracts

New statewide contract available for public safety, law enforcement video products, services, solutions

Effective May 20, DES has a new statewide cooperative contract 05720 [ [link removed] ] for public safety and law enforcement video products, services, and solutions.

This contract succeeds contract 06316 [ [link removed] ] [ [link removed] ] for public safety video systems, which expired April 30.

New statewide contract available for IT development

DES has a new statewide contract 16322 for IT Development.
The contract includes:


* 65 small businesses, representing 53% of the total contract awards
* 25 OMWBE-certified businesses
* 2 small, certified veteran-owned businesses

This is the second of the revamped ITPS contracts [ [link removed] ].

DES is closing the categories 6 and 7 in the old two-tier ITPS contract 08215 [ [link removed] ].

New statewide contract available for electrical supplies

Effective May 30, DES has a new statewide contract 11121 for electrical supplies. 

This contract currently features one Washington small business:


* Centarr Corporation DBA Electricalhub

The contract is for purchases of common electrical supplies, including wire, conduit, breakers, and switches as well as electrical trim items, including LED lighting fixtures, controls, and smart controls.

Contract changes

New models, options added to ADA-compliant vehicles contract

DES added new models and options to contract 07621 for ADA-compliant vans, minivans, and specialty vehicles. These options were added to Northwest Bus Sales and Schetky Northwest Sales' price lists.

Expiring plumbing fixtures contract may lead to purchasing gap

Contract 01118 for plumbing fixtures expires June 30. There will be a gap in contract coverage. We encourage purchasers to place orders before the expiration date.

A solicitation for a new contract is currently in development. We expect to award the contract in fall 2024.
