Our country stands at a crossroads. The very fabric of our democracy is on the line, and it has never been more apparent.

The leader of the MAGA GOP and now convicted felon, Donald Trump, is determined to see our democracy fail. He wants to drag our country down a dark path of authoritarianism and extremism.

But I care about our democracy too much to let that happen.

Over two decades ago, I took an oath to protect this country from threats, both domestic and foreign.

I upheld that oath when my brother and I blew the whistle on Trump, even at the expense of our military careers. And I intend to continue honoring that oath.

I will never stop living by the commitment I made to protect my country and our democracy, and that’s why I am running for Congress.

There is too much at stake this November to sit back idly. We must fight to defend women's reproductive rights, remove politics from schools that are banning books, and support democracies like Ukraine on the global stage.

We cannot afford to let up for a second. The future of our democracy is on the line.

I’ve stood up to Trump and his allies before, and I will do it again. But I can’t succeed without you by my side.
