We need your help to defend our rights to essential health care.

Dear John,

Yesterday, conservative U.S. senators went on the record with their extremist agenda by blocking the Right to Contraception Act. 88% of Americans support access to birth control, and yet extremists rejected the bill—showing they do not care about what their constituents want or constitutionally protected rights, just their political agenda.

The Right to Contraception Act would have safeguarded our right to access birth control while also protecting providers to deliver that care. Without this bill, conservative justices on the Supreme Court could decide to overturn the constitutional right to birth control—just as they did with abortion. Will you rush a donation to help defend our right to essential health care and a better future for all?

Blocking the Right to Contraception Act is just another part of the coordinated extremist attack on the right to control our bodies, lives, and freedoms. They dismantled our right to abortion by overturning Roe, are criminalizing abortion in states across the country, are threatening fertility services, are trying to take away access to medication abortion and emergency abortion care, and we know birth control isn’t safe either. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas said that he wants to dismantle constitutional protections for contraception next and we’re seeing attacks on the right to birth control and access to it across the country.

The National Women’s Law Center is leading the fight to expand access to birth control and protect our reproductive freedoms in Congress, in the courts, and in states across the country. As we fight back against this authoritarian agenda, including denying us gender justice, your support makes a real difference in our ability to do this work. Join us and chip in at this critical moment.
