TOM WINTER FOR CONGRESS

We are going to get through the coronavirus outbreak together. If you are experiencing symptoms or are looking for more information, you can visit the website of the CDC or the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services. We are closely monitoring the situation and its effects on the people of Montana and our nation as we work together to keep our families and communities safe.

Hey John,

Through snow and rain, pandemics and hurricanes, Postal Service workers continue to do their jobs and deliver our mail. Here in Montana, the Postal Service is a vital lifeline for our rural communities. And in an election year taking place during a pandemic, we need the USPS more than ever. Universal vote-by-mail is the only way to cast our ballots while keeping ourselves and our communities safe.

Let postal workers know you have their back, say thank you for their hard work >>>

But during this crisis, when we need our mail carriers more than ever, the Trump administration is trying to gut the USPS. Trump personally threatened to veto the coronavirus relief package if Congress allotted one cent to the USPS. Why? Because Trump is terrified of a free and fair election. He knows that higher turnout in November will be a catastrophe for Republicans. So he and his cronies are working to make it difficult - and dangerous - to cast a ballot.

Our country is in crisis, and mail carriers are on the front lines every day. Hundreds of postal workers have tested positive for coronavirus, but their colleagues continue to deliver the food, medicine, and supplies that Americans need. Let’s stand with these brave men and women, and show them we have their backs.

Don’t forget to say thank you next time you see your mail carrier!
