<[link removed]>Only tactical voting can keep them out of power

Hi John,

This is probably the longest email that I will send during the General Election campaign, and I wish that I could make it shorter. But as a Best for Britain supporter I know that you will want to know what our plan is, and how you can help make it the most successful election campaign we’ve ever run.*

*(This is a tricky task because in 2019 we reached millions of people and predicted the order of candidates correctly in 97% of constituencies, which is quite tough to beat!)

We have three main messages to get across to voters at this election:

- Remember to vote on 4th July (and make sure they’re registered)


- Remember to bring their Photo ID (or register for a postal vote) when they do vote


- Check how to vote tactically using GetVoting.org - to change the government and keep the worst populists out of parliament



But before we get onto that, I want to remind everyone why Best for Britain is throwing everything at this general election campaign.


Our purpose is to fix the problems Britain faces after Brexit, and get our relationship with Europe back.

But the current government have shown us that they simply aren’t prepared to do that. The first step is to change the government. And although the opposition parties haven’t been brilliant on Brexit either, anything will be better than the Tories. And we certainly don't need Farage and other populists crowing from the opposition benches. We simply can’t wait any longer; the damage done to our lives, livelihoods and businesses is too great. And cannot continue.

<[link removed]>I'll support the campaign <[link removed]>But it isn’t all about Brexit. Look at what they’ve done to our country and its four nations. Our “Britain Can’t Wait” campaign <[link removed]> tells the story of nine people who need a change of government NOW - they simply can’t wait another five years. The campaign explains to voters that millions of people need them to vote tactically at this election. And we want everyone to see it. 

Quite simply, the more money we raise the more voters we will reach with our “Can’t Wait campaign, Photo ID reminders, and tactical voting recommendations when they launch on 17th June at 10am.

In the last few days we have already raised £26,754! But we know that to reach all the key marginal constituencies we need to spend £125,000. Will you help us hit our target <[link removed]> by 17th June?

So what will your money be spent on?

- Digital Ads <[link removed]> - At the last election we were one of the most-seen political advertisers after the political parties. We’ll be running them in key places where votes are most likely to be split between Green, Labour, and Lib Dem voters.


- Billboards and posters <[link removed]> - With more and more people spending less and less time on social media, it’s more important than ever to reach people when they’re out and about. 


- Viral Content Creation <[link removed]> - Best for Britain’s social media channels already have the highest number of followers of all the political campaigns. So we must use our reach to generate shareable content that takes our tactical voting message to new people. To do that, we need to pay creators properly and fairly. It also keeps our content high quality.

<[link removed]>Polling shows that it looks like the Tories will lose the election. But how will we feel if we wake up on 5th July to a House of Commons that still has Liz Truss, Jacob Rees-Mogg, Suella Braverman, Grant Shapps and Kemi Badenoch? Too many people in Britain simply cannot afford another five years of chaos, even if it’s coming from the opposition benches.

And the risk of a deal with Reform UK just went up with Nigel Farage standing in Clacton, as Naomi has warned before. <[link removed]>

So I am asking you (even though they’ve made our lives more expensive and we all have less money than ever!) to make a donation <[link removed]> to locking the Tories out of government for a generation, and to removing the worst populists from parliament.

If we get this right, we might just save our country.
