John — My whole life has been marked by epiphanies made through books.
One of my most memorable reads was Green Mansions by William Henry Hudson when I was just 12. It was the first time I remember losing myself in the story completely, but it wouldn’t be the last.
Books have this amazing ability to shape our views, fuel our passions, and sometimes even change our lives. For me, On Fire: A Burning Case for a Green New Deal by Naomi Klein was the spark that ignited my urgency for climate activism. I moved to Washington D.C. and started Fire Drill Fridays, a weekly protest for climate action. This journey inspired me to write my own book, What Can I Do? My Path from Climate Despair to Action.
I truly believe that every book you read has the potential to profoundly change the way you see the world. So, I want to hear from you: What books have impacted your life, inspired your activism, or just allowed you to escape in the pages? [[link removed]]
