Happy Pride Month, team! 🏳️‍🌈

Throughout June, we're celebrating the achievements and progress made by the LGBTQIA+ community. Since Stonewall, the queer community has been a shining light for what it looks like to fight for progress in our country. They give me Bright Hope.

As we take this month to recommit to our fight for equal rights and protections, I'm reminded of LGBTQ+ trailblazers like Marsha P. Johnson and Harvey Milk. They embody what it means to persevere in the face of immense adversity.

If elected Senator come November, you can count on me to be a staunch advocate for LGBTQIA+ protections because everyone deserves the freedom to love and be their authentic selves.

And for too long, the Equality Act has stalled from being passed in the Senate. Discrimination of all types deserves to be condemned – and LGBTQIA+ people are no exception.
