Dear Colleague,
C-Fam has embarked on a new project -- the Center for Political Speech -- that will examine and expose what we call the Matrix of Suppression, the efforts by governments to control the global debate on a whole host of issues. The first Friday Fax story today is a part of this new program.
The greatly feared World Health Organization (WHO) pandemic treaty has ground to a halt, but what has not halted are new rules attached to the international health regulations that include the power of global institutions to impose censorship regimes on any critic of future health guidelines. These new censorship rules, originally cooked up by the Biden administration, were adopted through force in recent days. Stefano Gennarini, J.D. reports [[link removed]].
It is with profound anger and sadness that we report the WHO has officially approved a rabid pro-abortion group to have a special status with the global health agency. In a razor-thin vote taken in secret, the WHO has approved the Center for Reproductive Rights (CRR) as a special partner. The WHO has become one of the most powerful pro-abortion institutions in the world and this proves it. Lisa Correnti reports [[link removed]].
The invaluable Iulia Cazan who helpS to run the International Youth Coalition (IYc) has a blockbuster report [[link removed]] on a recently concluded youth conference in Nairobi. It is a disaster.
Please support our valuable work - [[link removed]]. We are the watchers on the wall. We are on that wall every working day and have been on that wall every working day for nearly 28 years.
Spread the word. Be daring. Keep the faith.
Yours sincerely,
Austin Ruse
President

WHO Gives Special Status to Radical Abortion Group
by Lisa Correnti
GENEVA, June 7 (C-FAM) After a razor thin vote and abundant criticism from the developing world, the World Health Organization (WHO) has given special status to the Center for Reproductive Rights (CRR), a rabidly pro-abortion legal group based in the United States. During the debate, traditional countries opposed the effort vociferously. Read more >> [[link removed]]
