Earlier this month, the House GOP's biggest super PAC spent another $600,000 to keep John Katko in office. Groups like this have already spent around $200,000 defending Katko's support of Donald Trump -- and it's unlikely that this latest spending wave will be the last.

First, John Katko benefited from outside spending when he voted to ignore Trump's abuses of power. Now, he's gotten another boost after formally endorsing Trump's re-election, and cozying up to Mike Pence and Devin Nunes. We can only imagine how John Katko will double down next on his support for Trump to get even more help.
