Sarah served as an airfield operations officer and led a team of 140 members. Now, Sarah is using her leadership and service-oriented attitude to run for Congress. She is an active community member, serving on the board of a local HUD-managed non-profit agency and on the DeWitt Police Commission.

Missy Cotter Smasal served as a Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy and deployed aboard the U.S.S. Trenton during Operation Enduring Freedom. After her active duty service, Missy started a small business in Virginia Beach. Missy currently serves as the Virginia Citizen Representative on the Chesapeake Bay Commission, a bipartisan commission that has achieved strong and effective results in pursuit of Bay restoration goals. Jared spent years in the Marine Corps where he served combat tours in both Afghanistan and Iraq in response to the September 11th attacks. After returning home, he worked for the House Democrat Office in Maine, then decided to take the next step in serving his country by running for Congress in one of the most competitive races in Maine’s history. Now, Jared is in Congress trying to pass legislation for veterans, small businesses, and everyday Americans with a tough, competitive race ahead for re-election.VOLUNTEER WITH JARED [[link removed]]

Delegate Dan Helmer lives in Fairfax County with his wife, Karen, a public school educator, and their two sons. He is the son of an immigrant and the grandson of refugees and Holocaust survivors. Dan has represented thousands of voters in the 10th District as a delegate, and he hopes to continue that as their next Congressman.

Jason served three tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan as an Army Ranger where he was awarded the Bronze Star for actions during battle. When he returned, he served on the Colorado Board of Veterans Affairs, became a name partner at a law firm, and ran (and won election) for Congress. Now he's in a race for re-election to continue fighting every day to make Colorado a better place.VOLUNTEER WITH JASON [[link removed]]
