Welcome to our weekly digest of current volunteer legal projects.

We have nearly 85 legal projects that need your help:

We The Action

Different types of organizations are increasingly collaborating on lobbying, voter engagement, and other advocacy activities, but they need to be aware of the rules governing organizations with different tax-exempt statuses. If you’re interested in supporting these efforts, this workshop will help explain how different types of nonprofit organizations can effectively collaborate while maintaining legal compliance. Join us on Thursday, June 25 at 3 PM ET for this virtual program. Lawyers may be barred in any state.

** 6—10 HOURS

Project 8p Foundation

The Project 8p Foundation raises funding for scientific research into this complex rare disease, empowers the community, and accelerates future treatments. Congenital Hyperinsulinism International

Access to devices to monitor their blood sugar levels is limited, despite their value to those within the hyperinsulinism community. A company has offered to provide devices to CHI to give to members of the HI community and collect data for a registry. They need a lawyer to review a contract with the company, to create informed consent documentation, and to help with data agreements and contracts with physicians.
