Undergraduate Scholarships for Dancers

Attention Dancers!

Are you pursuing an undergraduate degree?

Career Transition For Dancers (CTFD) at the Entertainment Community Fund supports dancers who are expanding their professional platform to include additional streams of income and/or new careers.

The CTFD Undergraduate Scholarship assists current and former dancers in pursuit of a college degree with the cost of higher education. Eligible applicants can receive up to $2000 for their college tuition.

Eligibility for the CTFD Undergraduate Scholarship includes:

  • A dance performance career of 5 or more years within the last 15 years (need not be consecutive or current). Teaching and choreography excluded
  • 70 weeks or more of paid dance employment (In the U.S. for non‐citizens)
  • Total minimum gross earnings of $40,000
  • Submit a completed application with supporting documentation

The deadline to apply is June 15!

To get started, attend The Career Center Orientation, then schedule a consultation with a CTFD Career Counselor to discuss your education plan and the application process.

To register for Orientation, log into the Entertainment Community Fund Portal and visit our listing of Workshops & Classes. Orientations are offered on Mondays and Wednesdays.
