John,
We’ve seen this question asked a few times over the last week: What’s next for progressives now that Bernie’s campaign for president has been suspended?
Here’s the answer: That same revolution for justice continues with us, and with you, John. It will carry forward in the hearts and minds of millions of young and working-class people across our country who are committed to fighting for change.
And our work to elect more transformational leaders to Congress is more important than ever. We need more leaders who will fight for change alongside Bernie in the Senate and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in the House. That’s how we will continue Bernie’s political revolution.
We have a slate of endorsed candidates who are challenging the status quo and running primary campaigns on bold ideas that were a part of Bernie’s presidential platform. Justice Democrats is a grassroots organization — we depend on your grassroots contributions to fund our work supporting these progressive primary challengers as they run for Congress.
Our fight is not over. It is more important than ever to elect new progressive leaders to Congress who are running on many of the policies Bernie ran on and will carry on the work of the political revolution.
As long as working families struggle to make ends meet as they face skyrocketing costs of living, as long as our neighbors can’t afford their insulin, as long as young Americans face crushing student debt, and as long as our democracy is dominated by the interests of large corporations, we must continue to fight for a political system that actually serves our interests.
We’re working to elect new, progressive leaders who will have the moral clarity and courage to make the political revolution a reality. Please contribute $3 to help us win in 2020 and fight for Bernie’s vision of the future.
Thank you for being a part of this movement for progress. It’s on all of us to continue to fight for the future we know we all deserve.
In solidarity,
Justice Democrats
