Terri Sewell is the proud product of Alabama’s rural Black Belt and has spent her life fighting for Alabama communities. From her time as one of the only black public finance lawyers in Alabama, when she delivered financing for new campus facilities at Alabama State University, Tuskegee University, and Stillman College, to her work as Congresswoman for Alabama’s 7th District, Terri Sewell has delivered results every step of the way. TERRI SEWELL FOR CONGRESS

I’ve always voted to protect Alabama communities and save lives by addressing the serious gun violence epidemic in our country.

For far too long, our nation’s lax gun laws and regulations have allowed powerful weapons of war onto our streets, and our communities are paying the price. This Gun Violence Awareness Month, we must do more to pass commonsense gun laws to ensure the safety of our children and our communities.

Congress has a moral obligation to take action to tackle America’s gun violence crisis and prevent more senseless killings — sign on now if you agree.

SIGN ON

The inaction of Republican leadership on gun violence prevention has played a significant role in the more than 45,000 gun deaths per year in our country.

While we took a step in the right direction two years ago with the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act — the most significant action to curb gun violence in decades — there is still much more to be done.

Add your name and join me in the critical fight to end gun violence in our country.

Thank you for standing with me,
