WEBINAR: FOUNDATION FOR CHILD DEVELOPMENT CONVERSATION SERIES
Cutting Child Poverty In Half and More: Pandemic-Era Lessons From Child and Family Advocates and Organizers

In 2020–21, the United States achieved a monumental yet temporary milestone: enacting federal policy reforms that halved child poverty and uplifted low-income families, including immigrant families and families of color, even amidst a global pandemic. Sadly, these unprecedented reforms have almost entirely ended. Yet the long-term organizing, power-building, and advocacy behind the reforms all continue today and offer crucial lessons for the future.

Join us on Thursday, July 11^th at 2 PM ET to learn what lessons organizers and advocates draw from both the victories and the—temporary—defeats, bringing a lens that connects racial and immigrant justice to child and family organizing and advocacy.
