Flew search and rescue missions in Afghanistan, earning a Purple Heart and Distinguished Flying Cross with Valor for her heroism after the Taliban shot down her helicopter
Took on the Pentagon to open ground combat roles to women, advocating on both sides of the aisle
Raising two young boys as a working mom after life-threatening pregnancies -- so you can count on MJ to protect and improve our health care

And here's what Sen. Cornyn has been up to during the same time:

Raising tons of money from private detention companies, Big Pharma, and the gun lobby
Trying to repeal health care protections for Texans -- twenty times
