As the school year comes to a close, we have some valuable new resources to help initiate thoughtful dialogue in the classroom and at home.


They include: a guide to help parents and families address antisemitism with young people, a new lesson plan on challenging bias when you are the target and our new summer online course Anti-Immigrant Bias: Educators Championing Justice where you can earn 7 Professional Learning credits (see details below).


June is also LGBTQ+ Pride Month and we have resources that help facilitate its themes to your communities and schools.

New ResourceConversations that Matter: Understanding and Discussing Antisemitism with Young People
Developed in collaboration with the AJP (Association of Jewish Psychologists), this resource helps parents, families and other trusted adults understand how antisemitism manifests in schools and communities. It explores the data on increasing antisemitism, explains the psychological impact of antisemitism on young people and provides strategies for parents and others to help young people cope. Also includes an infographic.

This picture book for ages 6-9 tells the story of Bayard Rustin, who spent his life disrupting racism and prejudice with nonviolent direct action. He was a friend and mentor to Martin Luther King Jr., and he was unapologetically gay and Black. When Bayard set out to organize the historic 1963 March on Washington, he was targeted by those who wished to see the movement fail. But Bayard Rustin would not be stopped.
