President Biden delivered another $7.7 billion in student debt relief to 160,000 Americans, [[link removed]] bringing the total number of Americans who have received relief during the Biden Administration to 5 million borrowers who have had $167 billion in student loans forgiven . President Biden’s student debt relief program is transformative for millions of Americans, helping make higher education the pathway to opportunity it should be.

The Supreme Court issued a ruling upholding South Carolina’s congressional map, [[link removed]] which was previously determined to be racially gerrymandered to dilute Black voting power. In his concurring opinion, Justice Clarence Thomas even went so far as to criticize the historic Brown v. Board of Education opinion and said the court should no longer hear racial gerrymandering cases.
Jim spoke with the Philadelphia Tribune [[link removed]] about his roles in Democratic House leadership and on President Biden’s campaign, the dangerous prospect of another four years of Donald Trump in the White House, and how we should engage voters in this year’s elections.
