Misinformation in elections can cause significant disruption, and if AI misdirects, it could become an instrument of chaos. That's why I’m being proactive by:

countering
disinformation.

local
and
federal
partners
to
monitor
election-related
conspiracies.

Emphasizing
media
literacy
and
promoting
trusted
sources
of
information.

Strengthening
our
cyber
defenses
to
prevent
misleading
information.
We have also seen legislative support, with bans on deceptive AI content and requirements for disclaimers. Senator Klobuchar is leading efforts in Congress to create standards for AI in elections.
