Hi there,

Welcome to another edition of our NAAC e-alert to keep you informed of up-coming events.  Please share our e-alert with your friends and family to keep them updated of all that's happening in and around Nottingham and encourage them to join our mailing list for all future updates on events and activities.

The past few months have been very busy and exciting for NAAC...We delivered very successful Holi and Vaisakhi in the Park events; our NAAC Music & Dance Academy students and tutors participated and performed at the Ay-Up Market event in the OMS;... and we are pleased to bring to you some more very exciting forthcoming events.

NAAC Staff and Board would like to THANK and Congratulate all our NAAC Music & Dance Academy students, tutors and ALL the local and national Artists (Premi, Sardara Gill, Khushi, Sadi Jodi Chamkila and Gaurav) for delivering fantastic performances at our Vaisakhi in the Park event. A Big Thank You also to all the staff at Nottingham City Council who helped at the event, Octavian Security & Sukhi Ghuman, Gemini Sounds & Event Management Indi Singh, DJ Anil and all our Volunteers who worked relentlessly at the event with setting up, surveys, clearing up and much more...??

NAAC Music &amp; Dance Academy

NAAC is looking for sponsorships/donations in order to carry on with the running of our Music and Dance classes. If you can or know of any businesses/individuals who can help us, then please get in touch with NAAC. 

Please advertise our ongoing NAAC Music & Dance Academy classes held every Wednesday from 5:30pm-8:00pm at Radford Academy. Please register your interest if you want to learn how to sing; play tabla, dhol, sitar, harmonium, flute, keyboard; Kathak, Bharatnatyam, Bhangra, Folk or Bollywood Dance!

Our Music & Dance Academy students are given the opportunity to participate at loads of local events organised by NAAC and other organisations...so come along and be that budding star!

International Day of Yoga, Saturday 22 June 2024

International Day of Yoga (World Yoga Day), is observed on the 21st of June every year...a global event celebrated to promote the practice of yoga and raise awareness about its numerous benefits. *We at NAAC will be celebrating IDY on Saturday 22 June in the Formal Gardens at Wollaton Park. *

Come and celebrate International Day of Yoga at Wollaton Hall & Deer Park!

*Morning session:* 10 am – 1 pm

*Afternoon session:* 1 pm – 4 pm

*PRICE: *£1.10 per person per session (includes booking fee) – Pre-booked tickets in advance apply.

Please note, you are able to book in for either the morning or afternoon session.

The sessions throughout the day will be full of wellbeing and yoga sessions, along with healthy food stalls and activities.

Typically these events *sell out quickly*, any additional walk up tickets are not guaranteed and are subject to venue capacity decided on the day.

Join us as we bring communities together to celebrate the *EID in the Park 2024,* to celebrate the end of the month long fasting during Ramadan.

First come first served basis in line with venue capacity.

Stalls, music and entertainment will be available at the event, including food stalls, fashion stalls and toys stalls. Optional charges apply.
